My coding journey dates back in 2016, I had this amusement about the fancy game mechanics I had seen in NFSMW. My mind always stumbled upon these "how" questions.
I decided to embark on a little but imperative adventure. The answer to this question "Which programming language should I learn first?" is a mantra in all Q&A forums.
So, Without any doubt, I started out with python and my first programming book I read was 'Introduction to python programming by Brian Heinold'.
One lesson I learnt over time, become adept at the basics, then your learning curve will flatten. When you decide to walk the self teaching path, it is quite challenging, you tend to have wide breadth and less depth and I was no special case, I fell victim.
Until then, I decided to focus on Full Stack Development and Linux System Administration.
Music is such a sensitive topic in the Islamic religion, but amidst all the mist around this topic, I decided to contribute to my religion through developing a service that allows sharing and streaming of anasheed music (special type of music). I divided the whole development into frontend and backend.
The frontend is hosted on gihub pages and the backend on pythonanywhere.com. As a source of data for the backend, I used scrapping to obtain information as I didn't find any available API to provide such kind of data.
I designed ANASHEED as a Progressive Web App (PWA) in order to allow a frictionless access to the entertainment.
Looking at the various movie streaming service alternatives out there, I decided to create a platform that could provide movie streaming services but never required signups (increased privacy), no ads and no subscriptions.
I began on this epic journey in 2021, and along the timeline, I faced lots of challenges and one of the main challenges was copyright infringement. As a work around, I decided to use torrent movies. The application is fully responsive and it has a user friendly user interface.
